Welcome to the week at La Combe.

I am Lies, owner of campsite La Combe, an experienced ceramics artist and therapist. I would very much like to share my knowledge and experience with people who have a passion for handicraft and working with natural materials. In this week you will learn the basic techniques of this ancient craft and art form. Ceramic handicraft is not only a technical-artistic experience, but also a very creative and playful.

Do you want to feel, squeeze, push, attach, ... , completely surrounded by the clay, playing like a child? Then this is for you. You become blissfully calm. You are completely in the element of clay. The possibilities are endless. Do you want something square, cylindrical, round, high or low, narrow or wide, ... . Everything is possible. Let your creativity run wild. You will see, the results are really beautiful.

At the end of the week, you will have the satisfaction of taking home your own pots and a lot of fun to experiment with. Who knows, you may have discovered a new passion and create a ceramic corner in your home.

All this, is offered in one of the most beautiful regions of France: Dordogne, Le Périgord Noir. Camping La Combe is ideally located, close to Les Eyzies (5min), Sarlat (20 min), several prehistoric sites, caves and castles. The campsite is also located in pure nature, with a beautiful swimming pond. Surrounded by peace, forests and rocky cliffs. During this week you can also take the time to explore this region and nature.
