The campsite
Welcome to our little campsite in the greenery, open from the beginning of May until the end of September!
Flemish by origin and "Périgordine" by adoption, my name is Lies and I will be your hostess. The adventure began twenty five years ago with my father, whom I have gradually replaced by putting my own stamp on the business. Customers come back year after year, because they feel at home here, and they make real friends! This is our beloved place, and maybe soon yours...
Our family campsite offers a wide range of facilities for rent: bungalow tents, a "tente canada", a caravan, the mobile home "Près du pommier", the large family chalet, canvas tents as well as canvas and caravan sites.
La Combe is a green oasis, yet close to all the shops and villages with their typical markets. You can relax in the sun with a good book, swim in the pond, daydream or enjoy the birdsongs. Once a week I offer a communal dinner. The children can run, climb, swim and jump without disturbing anyone. The absence of a bar and disco guarantees peace and quietness.
Above the campsite you can see the typical rock shelters of the Vézère Valley. Would you like to go for a morning run, take a walk or stretch your legs after dinner? From the campsite, the forest is close by. With a bit of luck you will come across one of the many deer. There are many hiking and mountain bike trails nearby. Cycling on the small roads of the Dordogne is very pleasant. A few minutes from the campsite you can paddle a canoe on the Vézère and visit charming villages, medieval castles and prehistoric sites.
Everyone wakes up at his or her own pace: the tents open slowly. Bread and croissants ordered the day before can be collected by your children from Lies. Enjoy breakfast with your family: the day can begin.
You can choose to stay at the campsite and let the children play, enjoy your free time, or participate in the organised activities.
By 10 o'clock in the evening, the whole site is quiet so that everyone, including the children, can enjoy a well-deserved night's sleep.
