Welcome to the pottery week at La Combe.

Number of participants: min 4 max 6 people

Date: Saturday, June 4 (from 3 pm onwards) until Sunday, June 12

Pottery lessons + stay: 800 euros/person

All necessary materials and welcome dinner are also included.

I am Lies, owner of Camping La Combe, an experienced ceramics artist and therapist. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with people with a passion for crafts and working with natural materials. In this week you will learn the basic techniques of this ancient craft and art form. Pottery is not only a technical-artistic experience, but also an emotional-personal experience.

You may even encounter yourself.

In this week you will learn different techniques such as working the clay, centering the clay on the wheel, raising walls, finishing, ... . All this you learn in a small group, so there is enough time and attention for each individual. Each person has their own individual turntable.

At the end of the week you have the pleasure of taking home your own pots, together with a lot of knowledge to continue working with. After this week you will be able to work completely independently. Who knows, you may have discovered a new passion and create a ceramic corner in your home.

All this, is offered in one of the most beautiful regions of France: Dordogne, Le Périgord Noir. Camping La Combe is ideally located, close to Les Eyzies (5min), Sarlat (20 min), several prehistoric sites, caves and castles. The campsite is also located in pure nature, with a beautiful swimming pond. Surrounded by tranquility, forests and cliffs. During this week you can also take the time to explore this region and nature.
