The campsite

Welcome to our small campsite in the middle of breathtaking nature open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

I'm Lies, your Flemish hostess, speaking dutch, french and english. I started twenty five years ago with my father, whom I gradually replaced bringing my personal touch. Clients come back year after year, because they feel at home and make great friends! It's our favourite place, and maybe yours soon...

Our family campsite offers a wide range of very complete equipment for rent: bungalow tents, a "canada tent", a trailer, the mobile home "near the apple tree", the large family chalet, canvas tents as well as tent and caravan pitches.

La Combe is a green oasis and yet very close to all village shops with a typical weekly market. Here you can sunbathe with a good book, swim in the lake, dream or listen to the birds singing. Once a week, we propose a dinner together. The children can run, climb, swim, jump without disturbing anyone. The absence of a bar and disco guarantees tranquility.

Above the campsite you can see the typical rock shelters of the Vallée-Vézère.

You want to run in the morning, go for a walk or stretch your legs after dinner? From the campsite, the forest is nearby. With a bit of luck you will come across one of the many deer. There are also hiking and mountain bike trails nearby. On the small roads of the Dordogne it is very pleasant to cycle. A few minutes from the campsite you can paddle a canoe on the Vézère river and visit charming villages, medieval castles and prehistoric sites.

Everyone wakes up at their own pace: the tents open slowly. The bread and croissants ordered the day before can be collected by your children on the campsite. Enjoy your breakfast with your family: the day can begin.

You can choose to stay at the campsite, let the children play, enjoy your free time, or take part in the organised activities.

Around 10 o'clock in the evening the entire site is quiet, so everyone, including the children, can enjoy a well-deserved night's sleep.
